If your business’s average ticket is $10.01 – $15.00 your customer will pay an additional $0.59 on their total bill. If your business’s average ticket is $15.05 – $20.00 your customer will pay an additional $0.69 on their total bill. If your business’s average ticket is $20.01 and above, they will pay an additional 3.95% of the transaction on their total bill. For example, if the total ticket is $100 then your customer would pay $103.95.
Payment Card Networks cannot stop you from offering your customers a discount or another incentive for using a certain method of payment, as long as you offer it to all your customers and disclose the offer clearly and conspicuously. Each additional terminal will be a $10 monthly rental or can be purchased for $195 plus tax and shipping.
